When helping daddy wash up turns into a bath

When you have a child clinging to your leg asking 'Help?' What else can you do but put her on the side, give her a sponge and let her wash up a couple of the smaller things whilst showing her how you do it. What I was not expecting was her to take her shoes off and get her feet in the water and splash everywhere. By the time we had stopped messing about and actually finished washing up the water was disgusting and we where both soaked. Instead of running her upstairs, getting cold and running her a bath I thought sod it and ran her a 'bath' in the sink and as you can tell by the smiles on her face I think she enjoyed it more than being in the big bath. The difficulty with taking pictures in my house and the same in a lot of houses is always going to be lighting, as you can see there is a window behind my daughter which meant I was fighting shadows being cast on her face, but was able to combat it with the cameras on board flash. Also wanting to bring out the warmth of the house and love for my little girl I have also edited the pictures warming up the temperature. The most important thing about these pictures is we both had fun, we had fun washing up, we had fun taking the pictures and we had fun looking at them when we where both finished and dry.
